I wonder if Paul's second Star-Traxx has fallen off, or lost power, or something wrong. Other riders are changing positions on the rally view, but Paul is not. His tracker claims he's where he was several hours ago (ie post-bristlecone but still south of Bishop; this audio log was already north of Bishop on the way to Yosemite and that was a couple of hours ago).

Paul's Star-Traxx from the rally view:

Paul,

I doubt you'll see this comment until its way past all over, but good luck in the rally. I enjoy following your comments as you go.

Paul hasn't lost his unit again!!
Something was going on with Star-Traxx itself.

He's doing good, got both wheels on the ground.

I truely think he is really going to enjoy reading these comments.

I'm getting more and more envious - Paul rode though some really sweet county today. I spent a lot of time there in the 90s backpacking - good times - spectacular searery. I hope he can remember some of it after he gets done with this. It may be worth a return trip someday - at a more leasuily pace (not that any pace won't be mroe leasuily). Go Paul GO!! Paul...
In hope that you eventually see all of these comments after you FINISH the Big Ride, let me express my genuine gratitude for making this extra effort to include all of us keyboard jockeys on your IBR ride this year, intentional or not. I find your posts fascinating, and combined with the sat tracking, I find myself able to participate in a way I never thought possible. It's the next best thing to actual saddle time.

I think you've stumbled into something big here, and you're good at it. Thanks for bringing it!
